Vanilla Almond Shake
This recipe I discovered while I was low on fruits and vegetables for my morning smoothie. When I tasted it for the first time I was shocked how much it resembled a vanilla milk shake. This is a great summer treat after dinner to replace ice cream or a good morning “wake up” post workout session.
1 cup ice cubes
1 frozen banana
2 cups of almond milk
10 almonds
1 date
Large pinch of cinnamon
Carrot Cake Almond Shake
People either love or hate carrot cake, and that stays true to this recipe as well! I love this shake, but I’ve made it for people who told me they hated it…so make at your own risk!
1 cup of ice cubes
1 frozen banana
½ carrot
½ inch piece of ginger
2 dates
10 cashews
Large pinch of pumpkin pie seasoning
Small pinch of cloves
Green Machine Almond Shake
If you need to find a way to sneak in some greens, here is your chance! Very similar to the “Vanilla Milkshake.”
1 cup ice cubes
1 frozen banana
2 cups of almond milk
1 cup of spinach
Large pinch of cinnamon
Strawberry Shortcake Almond Shake
So by now you should be able to predict the first three ingredients. This is my personal favorite. The color is more appealing than the green machine, but we are still able to sneak in some greens.
1 cup ice cubes
½ frozen banana
2 cups of almond milk
½ avocado
1 ½ cup frozen strawberries
2 dates
Chocolate Almond Shake
What is a shake without the option of chocolate? The avocado makes this shake more “smooth” than the vanilla shake. Don’t ask me why the cinnamon is necessary…because I am not sure, but it works. Cheers my friends!
1 cup ice cubes
1 frozen banana
2 cups of chocolate almond milk
½ avocado
10 almonds
2 dates
Small pinch of cinnamon
